Ady-Voltedge Board & Leadership Training

Led by Robert M. Ady and Karen Buellesbach, president of Management Training Professionals, this training is designed for EDO leadership and staff to help them fully understand the site selection process as well as the expectations and needs of prospective company executives.

Like any business or organization, a community must have a singular voice and message when promoting its features and benefits to corporate decision makers. Opportunities are lost when EDO leadership and staff tell only part of the story to site selectors, emphasize inconsequential data, and/or offer conflicting opinions.

As well, site selection criteria can vary radically depending on the industry. What is most important for a food processing company, for example, might be inconsequential to a distribution/logistics operation.

Seminar emphases are on avoiding common mistakes and pitfalls, along with sharing what successful EDOs have recently done to attract new business—and how they did so. Role-playing and case studies are used to demonstrate the various aspects of EDO officer and director responsibilities.
